My Story
For as far back as I can remember, I've been using my voice to entertain others. I've always had a profound appreciation of music and the human voice.
​
In the early years, it was choir and school plays where I sang and acted my little heart out. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of lying on the living room floor on a cold day in the warm sun, listening to America's Top 40 to see what new songs and vocalists I could discover.
​
I was always so enamoured by what vocalists could do, how they could portray feeling and power, and tell a story just through the tone, pitch and modulation of their voice. I wanted to feel what they were feeling and give that to others, so in my teen years I started my first band with some friends. We didn't get very far, but we had a lot of fun experimenting with sound, and I in particular discovered a lot about my voice.

It's been more than 25 years (a few bands and lots of fun adventures) since I first really discovered how to move people with my words and the tone of my voice. This is what led me to voiceover. A new world of artistic expression and an opportunity to use my voice in a different way to help others tell their stories.
​
All these years later, I still sing in two bands in my spare time (one of them with two of the friends I started my first band with!). But, I'm also a father to two crazy kids, a husband to a wonderful wife and a professional with more than 20 years of business experience working in the finance and higher education industries, mostly in leadership roles.
​
All of these experiences help me to bring my best to my work every day and create engaging and connecting voiceovers for my clients' projects.
